10th summer gathering of the Lithuanian Cattle Breeders Association

We are excited to share that yesterday, on an otherwise ordinary Thursday, we took part in an extraordinary event.

On 14 July, in the picturesque setting of Zalensai Homestead Valley, the 10th summer gathering of the Lithuanian Cattle Breeders Association took place. This remarkable celebration brought together farmers, farm specialists, dairy and meat processors, and like-minded professionals.

There was something for everyone: sporting relays, competitions, and challenges for adults, while children enjoyed a variety of activities. The BS Chemical team awarded prizes to the four winning teams. Throughout the event, we engaged with existing and prospective clients of our distributor Baltic Agro, sharing experiences, insights, and showcasing our agricultural sector products.

Lithuanian farmers are exceptionally warm and welcoming, and we were delighted to share our visions and projects with these professionals.

The real “cherry on the cake” was the special recognition awarded to our company. The organisers expressed their gratitude for our support in helping to organise the event – a small gesture, but one that truly touched our hearts. We look forward to invitations and meetings in the coming year!

Overview of cattle hoof diseases on dairy farms and preventive measures

On 15 September, we hosted an extraordinary event at our premises. We are delighted to share some moments and details from this interactive seminar.

Seminar topic: Overview of cattle hoof diseases on dairy farms and opportunities for prevention.

The seminar was organised jointly by Baltic Agro and BS Chemical, carefully scheduling a programme that brought together over 30 participants from across Lithuania, all of whom encounter hoof problems in their daily work.

The aim was to discuss common animal health issues on farms and introduce the latest products that can help address hoof problems. Participants were also given a tour of our production facilities, where chemical solutions are developed and manufactured.

Speakers included:

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arūnas Rutkauskas, Head of the Large Animal Clinic at LSMU VA VF, presenting on Cattle Hoof Diseases and Prevention.

Renatas Bernikas, Head of BS Chemical’s Agro Division, agronomist and agricultural specialist, presenting on the development and implementation of BS Chemical products for hoof care on farms.

The seminar was a great success, generating keen interest and numerous questions from attendees, all in high spirits. The event concluded with a wonderful dinner by the seaside in Klaipėda, watching the sunset after a productive day – a truly perfect ending?

We sincerely thank all participants for their time and engagement!

As summer draws to a close, people begin seeking places to relax both body and mind.

As summer draws to a close, people begin seeking places where they can relax both body and mind. Spa treatments and swimming pools are often the ideal way to restore energy after a long working day and to ease the wait for the next summer. Although water-based therapies for health, leisure, and patient rehabilitation have been used in Lithuania since ancient times, the modern concept of SPA services only became widespread and popular about a decade ago.

The quality of these services is an integrated concept, combining service delivery with customer satisfaction. What primarily determines visitor satisfaction is the cleanliness of the spa or pool. Water is the basis of life, and bacteria, viruses, microbes, and fungi constantly proliferate in pools and their surroundings. Filtration systems capture some contaminants, but no filter can guarantee complete purity. High ambient temperatures further encourage the growth of algae and microorganisms. For this reason, appropriate chemical treatments must be used to eliminate water contamination risks and maintain proper hygiene.

We manufacture high-quality cleaning and disinfection products for the maintenance of pools and SPA facilities.

Our product range includes:

  • Undo Hypochlor – a pool water disinfectant based on sodium hypochlorite
  • Undo PH – a pool water pH-reducing agent
  • Undo Flok – a pool water clarifier

…and many more. Our experienced managers not only provide expert advice but also help resolve hygiene challenges in your business, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for your clients.

“Agro Baltic Estonia” Visit

Today was an unusual day at our factory, as we welcomed a warm visit from Baltic Agro Estonia, one of the leading suppliers to Estonian farmers. We were delighted to celebrate the first anniversary of our partnership. Our partner had the opportunity to bring their clients to the factory, where we presented a brief overview of our products and daily operations. We also discussed the successes of our collaboration, engaging in lively discussions and addressing numerous questions directly.

Such visits help us better understand our partner and their clients’ goals. By knowing each other more deeply, we build mutual trust – the social “glue” that sustains lasting business relationships.

Visit to dairy oroducers in Estonian farms

Our company specialists, Virginijus and Renatas, visited Estonian farms at the invitation of our partner, Baltic Agro Estonia. Four large-scale dairy producers were toured. The aim of the visit was to see Estonian farms that successfully develop milk production and use BS Chemical products, to propose additional hygiene solutions, and to understand their daily challenges and what they need to achieve better results.

Upon entering the production facilities, we can always perform a cleaning validation test if required, revealing the actual amount of organic residue left on surfaces after cleaning. To achieve optimal results, we offer professional cleaning agents manufactured by BS Chemical.

Working closely with farms and farmers, we assess on-site which products are most cost-effective for each farm. In developing our products, we listen carefully to farm owners, their specialists, and staff, adapting solutions while considering the physiological habits and welfare of the animals.

During this visit, our specialists found that Estonian dairy producers operate under conditions similar to those of large Lithuanian farms, face comparable challenges, but also require specific products. This information was fully analysed and communicated to BS Chemical’s product development team, and a new product is now in development.
