Overview of cattle hoof diseases on dairy farms and preventive measures

On 15 September, we hosted an extraordinary event at our premises. We are delighted to share some moments and details from this interactive seminar.

Seminar topic: Overview of cattle hoof diseases on dairy farms and opportunities for prevention.

The seminar was organised jointly by Baltic Agro and BS Chemical, carefully scheduling a programme that brought together over 30 participants from across Lithuania, all of whom encounter hoof problems in their daily work.

The aim was to discuss common animal health issues on farms and introduce the latest products that can help address hoof problems. Participants were also given a tour of our production facilities, where chemical solutions are developed and manufactured.

Speakers included:

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arūnas Rutkauskas, Head of the Large Animal Clinic at LSMU VA VF, presenting on Cattle Hoof Diseases and Prevention.

Renatas Bernikas, Head of BS Chemical’s Agro Division, agronomist and agricultural specialist, presenting on the development and implementation of BS Chemical products for hoof care on farms.

The seminar was a great success, generating keen interest and numerous questions from attendees, all in high spirits. The event concluded with a wonderful dinner by the seaside in Klaipėda, watching the sunset after a productive day – a truly perfect ending?
