Our company, BS Chemical, celebrated its 10th anniversary. In today’s business world, the success of a company relies on dedicated and loyal employees. Properly recognising staff who have worked with the company for many years often presents a challenge for management.

Our director honoured employees marking a decade of service in a truly exceptional way, presenting them with leisure vouchers for SPA treatments.

We firmly believe that long-serving employees are invaluable to the company, providing stability and reliability. Moreover, they play a crucial role in training new staff, passing on the company’s experience, culture, and values.

The art of brewing in Lithuania has been known since ancient times. Beer was already being brewed here in the 11th century, and it became most popular in the 16th century. In Samogitia, barley beer was brewed from the earliest times and was used in ritual ceremonies. Even the oldest collection of laws of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania mentions several regulations relating to brewing. Brewing has long been one of the country’s oldest trades. Beyond its cultural significance, it held considerable economic importance. A skilled brewer enjoyed an excellent reputation. Following Lithuania’s independence, beer became not only a high-quality beverage but also a valuable commodity. The restoration of independence opened new opportunities for local brewers: they could select the finest raw materials for their beer and choose the most efficient cleaning products to maintain their equipment.

Our company has over 15 years of experience producing cleaning agents for breweries. We offer a comprehensive hygiene solution and follow a systematic approach:

• Testing cleaning agents in specific locations and on particular surfaces
• Determining precise working concentrations
• Conducting microbiological analyses
• Supervising operators to ensure cleaning is performed correctly
• Ensuring all staff use personal protective equipment in accordance with safety guidelines
• Providing detailed instructions for the use of our cleaning products

We have begun manufacturing private label detergents for the retail chain Maxima. This project required significant effort, particularly from our Research and Development (R&D) team. However, we can now confidently say that all efforts were fully justified and have delivered excellent results.

We are able to develop detergents for various applications, tailored to your specific requirements and fully compliant with EU standards.

In detergent production, we use only carefully selected raw materials sourced from reliable international suppliers. An implemented ISO management system and comprehensive laboratory testing ensure safe, high-quality production and effective process control.

On 26 October, we participated in Cattle Expo – 2019, held in Tbilisi, Georgia. The exhibition took place in a picturesque location at the Tbilisi Hippodrome area, near Lake Lisi.

Cattle Expo – 2019 was one of the largest events of its kind. It was organised by the Georgian Cattle Breeders Association and the Georgian Dairy Association.

The exhibition was attended by farmers, cattle importers, government authorities, scientists, professional and industry associations, and other sector representatives. We gained valuable insight into local farming practices and, of course, had the opportunity to taste dairy products from local producers.

Our primary objective was to establish contact with farmers who were still considering cooperation with us — and we succeeded. Immediately after the exhibition, we were invited to visit their farms and discuss areas where we could provide support.

We look forward to continued cooperation.

Mixing challenges in the chemical industry are unique and constantly evolving. Our engineers and scientists worked together to determine whether the mixing processes carried out by BS Chemical were sufficiently efficient.

It is well known that mixing is an integral part of chemical and physical processes, including blending, dissolving, dispersion, suspension, emulsification, heat transfer and chemical reactions.

Following extensive discussions and analysis, our specialists decided to invest in a new mixing reactor. The study revealed that inadequate mixing had previously resulted in significant financial losses.

The optimal solution for our chemical processes was a heated mixing reactor with angled blades and a circulation loop.

After installing the new reactor, we achieved:

• Combined axial and radial flow patterns
• Efficient heat transfer to vessel walls or internal coils
• Adjustable downward and upward flow circulation
• Intensive mixing of viscous materials (up to 10,000 cps)
