Introduction of a new udder hygiene product for use before and after milking

Agriculture is one of the oldest sectors in Lithuania. However, in recent years the number of dairy cows has significantly declined. There are many reasons for this. One of the most common mistakes made by farmers is believing that teat disinfection after milking alone is sufficient. It is essential to understand that both pre-milking teat disinfection and post-milking udder hygiene are necessary. For this reason, we developed three new products.

FARM LAFOAM

Foaming pre-milking teat cleaner.

A ready-to-use foaming solution containing lactic acid, designed for use before milking. The cow’s teats are covered with active foam that effectively removes mastitis-causing pathogens. Contains skin-conditioning agents. The product must be used with a foaming dip cup.

Concentrate for preparing a foaming teat dip for pre-milking use.

FARM LACTIC

Post-milking disinfectant for udder hygiene.

A ready-to-use thickened solution containing iodine, lactic acid and glycolic acid. Promotes faster closure of the teat canal after milking. Moisturises and protects teat skin.
